This is a place where every detail like the scent in the air, the curated guide to Antwerp, the playlist, the minibar, the little game with something worth winning at the end, came together into something complete. This concept was a Studio Penelope experience at it fullest. And this at a time when nobody was doing that yet.

The former function was a ground floor garage of a house with storage rooms in the back. After transforming it to a full functional apartment nothing would guess what it was before.

People forgot they were in Antwerp. They said it felt like Paris, London, Milan. They said they would rather stay in than go out.

That is what I had set out to create. A destination on its own. A place where people felt something they didn't expect and never quite forgot.
